Misty's Blog - I'll be back

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all of your support. I am resting back at home now after a successful surgery. I had both a good thing happen last week and a bad, but life is always full of surprises. The good thing that happened was my husband Matt came back to California after his surgery and his baseball season ended. We had seen each other less than 24 hours in over two months, so it is a relief to be reunited with him. The bad thing is obviously my dancing season cut short. Misty reveals her injury

Misty May underwent successful surgery this morning on her achilles tendon. She is expected to recover fully, but will be out of this year’s Dancing with the Stars competition. However, Misty is determined to return to both the beach and the ballroom next year.

Misty's Blog: Week 3 Preview

Hi everyone. Well I survived the second week and I am so excited to be dancing again! I know most of you saw my struggles last week with the Paso Doble but I did it and felt good with our performance. After having only 3 days of rehearsal before going live, I am relieved that we got the 21 and live to see another week. I love being around such wonderful people, I am truly having the time of my life, and I can’t wait to see my husband this week!! The dance that Maks and I will be performing this week is the Jive. Misty's Blog: Week 2

Hello everyone from the beautiful world of “Happy Feet”.

Well Maks and I survived the first week of eliminations. We had less than 4 weeks to learn both the Fox Trot and the Mambo…but we did it. On both nights we scored a 21! In Vegas that is great, but on the show it got us tied with about 5 or 6 other couples. We are going to have to work on that. Brooke Burke held the top score with a 26. Incredible! Anyways, we survived and now we are on week 2. Tension is high around the studio since this has been a short week for us to rehearse. ...
